There has been a profound shift in the way OutThere travellers traverse the world… one that champions purposeful exploration over mere indulgence. Luxury brands are inspiring travelers to rethink not just their destinations, but also the intentions behind their journeys, the means of getting there, and the connections they forge along the way. It’s a movement driven by a commitment to leaving somewhere better than we found it.

Across the globe, groundbreaking initiatives are taking root, blending human connection, environmental stewardship and sustainable innovation. These ventures resonate deeply, drawing support from travellers and communities alike and exemplifying the transformative power of travel when aligned with meaningful values.

The Most OutThere Initiative in Community, Conservation and Sustainability category of the #ExperientialistAwards celebrates the most extraordinary efforts and projects that redefine what it means to travel responsibly. These are 9 of the 18 fantastic finalists.

The winner(s) will receive/a share of £15,000 / $19,000, funded entirely by entry fees, to further fuel their mission and expand their impact.

Social responsibility continues to be a core pillar for many of today’s luxury travel brands, encouraging travellers to journey with purpose and not just be conscious about where they travel, but also how they travel, why and with whom. It is heartwarming to see so many brands create initiatives that foster a deep and empathetic understanding of humanity, nature and sustainable custodianship, and garner support for them from their guests, travellers and the public at large. These projects are the best of the best social responsibility projects in community, conservation and sustainability, related to the mindblowing travel experiences that are true to OutThere’s core values.

The winner(s) of this category will receive the £15,000 / $19,000 collected from entry fees to help fund their project.

We wish to honour and recognise ALL 18 of the the amazing projects/submissions this year, so will showcase the finalists here in 2 parts.
